In recent years, there has been a rise in game development companies and independent game developers in Bangladesh, creating exciting new releases in various genres. We had the opportunity to speak with some of these talented game developers about their latest projects and get a glimpse into the growing gaming scene in Bangladesh.

One of the game developers we spoke to was Ahmed, founder of a small indie game studio called Pixel Playground. His latest release, “Dhaka Drag Racers,” is a high-speed racing game set in the bustling streets of the capital city of Bangladesh. Ahmed shared with us his inspiration for the game, citing his love for racing games and his desire to showcase the vibrant culture of Dhaka through gaming. He also discussed the challenges and rewards of being an independent game developer in Bangladesh, highlighting the supportive community and the potential for growth in the industry.

Another developer we interviewed was Nisha, a game designer at a larger game development company called NextGen. NextGen’s latest release, “Jungle Jamboree,” is a puzzle-adventure game that immerses players in the dense forests of Bangladesh.
